Explore the Forodhani Night Food Market
Also in Stone Town, along the waterfront, you will find an incredible night food market that sells a huge range of tasty local dishes. Make sure that you get there before the sun goes down to watch traders set up stall.
Take a dhow cruise
Dhows are traditionally dug out canoes that are a common sight in Zanzibar. Taking a cruise on one is sure to be something you will remember forever. You can also capture some postcard perfect pictures of fishermen returning to show on their dhows.
Take a dala-dala ride
The ever-present dala-dalas are minibus taxis that will stop anywhere to collect or drop passengers. Cheaper than regular taxis, they are an experience into themselves. Be aware however that they often get overcrowded, which, of course, is all part of the experience.
